Sinopsis:
Pada awal kisah The Philosophers dimulai dari sekolah internasional di Jakarta. Lalu, muncul pesan bahwa akan ada bencana nuklir yang mengerikan.
Seorang guru philosophy (diperankan oleh James D’Arcy) memiliki sebuah tempat penampungan di bawah tanah. Dia akan mengajak murid-muridnya untuk masuk ke dalam bunker, tapi hanya 10 dari 20 pelajar yang bisa masuk.
Itulah dimana anggota guru menantang 20 orang pelajarnya untuk bisa mendapatkan kesempatan untuk masuk ke barak untuk berlindung.
